Kids Haven Community Child Care Board of Directors sets the fee schedule according to the ongoing cost of operation Parent fees are reviewed on an annual basis when the operating budget is approved by the City of Toronto. Parents are notified thirty days in advance of any increase in fees.
Fees are payable at the beginning of each month and receipts are issued by the end of February each calendar year for income tax purposes. Child care fees are billed according to the number of billable days in the month therefore fees will fluctuate slightly per month as opposed to a set fee. A fee schedule will be given to each family indicating their fees payable for each month. There are no rebates or reduction for unused days of care for any reason including statutory holidays, family holidays or absence due to illness. There is no fee reduction for siblings.
Kids Haven Community Child Care has a Purchase of Service Agreement with the City of Toronto, which enables us to offer a limited number of subsidized spaces as allocated from city caseworkers.
